Overview
The Ceymplon internship program offers the students who follow a degree, or a higher diploma programme in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical or business field with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working for a technically advanced global organization.
As a continuance of the provision of internship, three students were absorbed from Faculty of Information Technology of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka on 26 Sep 2018. The faculty of Information Technology is one of the five faculties in the University of Moratuwa and is the first ever faculty of its kind in the national university system of Sri Lanka. The Faculty was established in June 2001 to cater to the growing need for Information Technology (IT) professionals in the country.
Selected student interns have worked with a team of Ceymplon IT professionals who use leading-edge systems and tools to create innovative solutions, and developed their skills on technologies such as Laravel Nova, MySql, Vue.js, and React-Native. They all have successfully completed their assignment on 13 Mar 2019.
Student interns share their experience
“During
the 24 weeks of my internship training period, I have been fortunate enough in gaining a good knowledge in the
Software Engineering field applying the technologies such as Laravel Nova, MySql, Vue.js, and React-Native in
the practical world.
When I joined with Ceymplon, I hadn’t had a proper knowledge on the above
mentioned technologies, but when I have finished my training here, now I leave with a real time working
experience and proper knowledge in Software Engineering field.
Being with Ceymplon, I have learnt not only technologies, but also how a project is initially planned, developed, and completed as well as how much work and detail goes into every stage.

early period of my internship training, I didn’t have enough knowledge on the software development process, but
I have learnt it with the help from my supervisor and staffs gradually.
During this 6 months of my
internship training period, I have learnt the technologies in deep and accurately, mainly on Laravel Nova,
Vue.js, and React-Native. I am pretty sure that I have upgraded my knowledge from various projects. Thank you

“After
three and a half years of my learning academically, I had a chance to gain a practical knowledge in the real
world through an internship training program.
I had learnt the PHP and MySql technologies in the second
year of my studies. Before joining with Ceymplon, I had had a very limited view about software development, and
didn’t know what to expect from an internship training program. I was assigned a project on Laravel Framework,
and I have learnt Laravel Nova, Vue.js, and React-Native with the guidance of my supervisor and staffs. Now, I
understand about the complex building and maintaining a software.
Through my internship, I have gained enough experience in working with a large code base, writing maintainable code, using a version control system properly, dealing with databases, using Application Programing Interfaces, and more for the software industry.
