Another landmark of empowering youths!

As a continuance in its endeavor for creating a positive communities in its working region, Ceymplon has contributed financially to the Pachchilaipalli Divisional Secretariat in Kilinochchi district in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka as a proud sponsor for holding the ‘Divisional Sports Festival - 2019’.

The objectives of the sports competition were to determine the best athletes and teams and greatest achievements in sports, to improve athletic skills, and to popularize physical culture and sports. The sports competition provided an excellent opportunity to evaluate the sports organizations, athletes, and officials in the division.

The sports festival has comprised track running including sprints (100 m), middle distance (800 m), and relay (4x100 m), football, volley ball, and tug-of-war. It has been realized the gender equality, fairness, mutual respect, discipline, social inclusion, engagement, and perseverance at the festival, and it is and excellent initiative and it would indeed nurture physical fitness of youths and their social interaction skills gradually in the near future. Especially, it would cure the inner wounds of youths who have been affected mentally due to the prevailed armed conflict situation in the country.
