Ceymplon intervention on the provision of internship!

The Ceymplon internship program offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working for a technically advanced global organization. Selected interns work with a team of Ceymplon IT professionals using leading-edge systems and tools to create innovative solutions. The interns also get to learn more about Ceymplon and its future job opportunities, and Ceymplon also learn more about them. Students who follow a degree or higher diploma in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical or business field are hired for the Ceymplon internship program. The interns work in a team environment where they collaborate with others and continue to grow their skills in areas such as PHP, .NET, K2, Power Toolz, etc.

As a continuance of the provision of internship, three students were absorbed from the Department of the Computer Science of the Faculty of Science of the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in Nov 2018. The department has organized and conducted the ‘CS Career Fair-2018’ on Saturday 6 Oct 2018 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm at the premises of the department as a leap forward for the career future of their students. Dr A Ramanan, the Head and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna had attended the event, and delivered the welcome address. Dr K Vignarooban, the Head and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna had represented Prof R Vigneswaran, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Jaffna, and delivered the Vice-Chancellor’s address. Prof JP Jeyadevan, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna, Dr K Thabotharan, the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna, and Mr SPD Anuraj, the Interim Branch Chair/ IEEE University of Jaffna Student Branch also had attended the event, and delivered their speech. Other academic and non-academic personalities, and the students of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna also attended the event.

Ceymplon and other software service providers such as 99x Technology, WSO2, hSenid Mobile Solutions, Unicom Technologies, Apptimus Tech, Zyom, Virtusa, Arima Technologies, Innovay, and MyDynamica also attended the event. Mr Vyramuthu Miralan, the Product Manager, Mr Sivanathan James Kirubananda, the Customer Experience Manager, Mr Parthiban Wignarajah, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Mr Kogulan Vimaleswaran, the Software Engineer, Mr Seevaratnam Kajandan, the Software Engineer, Mr Tharsan Sundaramoorthy, Software Engineer, and Mr Janatharan Sivanesan, the Software Engineer represented Ceymplon under the coordination of Mr Miralan, and Mr Kogulan delivered the introductory presentation at the inauguration ceremony during the spotlight sessions. More than 300 students had attended the event, and Ceymplon interviewed more than 50 students among them. Out of the students interviewed, there students were selected for the internship programme with Ceymplon.

Amala has been reading for the BCS (Hons) Degree Programme at the Faculty of Science of the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. She was selected for the programme for the academic year 2014/15. Ms Amala has been hired as a Trainee Associate Software Engineer from 26 Nov 2018. She has a good knowledge in PHP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and Android. Ceymplon and jEyLaBs expect Amala to play a significant role in delivering better outcomes to our global teams and clients.

OpenCV, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, and HTML Ceymplon and jEyLaBs expect Kalai to play a significant role in delivering better outcomes to our global teams and clients.
